Hans-Joachim-Schwager-Preis für Klinische Ethik

Zu Ehren des ehemaligen Vorstandsmitglieds der v. Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen Bethel, Prof. Dr. Hans Joachim Schwager, und seiner Pionierarbeit im Bereich Klinische Ethik hat der Vorstand der Stiftungen den Hans Joachim Schwager Award (HJSA) gestiftet. Dieser Preis über 5.000 Euro soll eine Anerkennung für ein anhaltendes Engagement im Bereich der Klinischen Ethik sein.

Hans Joachim Schwager Award (english information)

Professor Schwager was a pioneer in clinical ethics in Germany and a member of the Board of Directors of the v. Bodelschwinghsche Stiftungen Bethel, the sponsor of the Hans Joachim Schwager Award. The Award will be given annually in the amount of 5,000 Euros to encourage individuals and groups engaged in clinical ethics to communicate their experiences, achievements, and challenges to a larger audience and to support clinical ethics practitioners who have successfully implemented ethical consultation in healthcare facilities.
