Stamps for Bethel

"Stamps for Bethel!" – thousands of people think of this when they open their post. They collect envelopes and stamps, then send them to the v. Bodelschwingh Foundation Bethel. Stamp donors not only include individuals, but parishes, kindergartens, schools and companies also support the work of the diaconal organisation in this way. Over 400 parcels, packages and letters containing stamps arrive at Bethel every working day. Valuable collections are also sometimes included.

Bethel is delighted to receive postage stamps from all over the world. This is because it gives people with disabilities meaningful employment in the workshops. The stamps are cut out, sorted by country, then packaged for sale. Stamp enthusiasts usually buy stamps by the kilo. As an example, there is a colourful mix from all over the world, another from Germany and others featuring motif collections. With a bit of luck, you might even find a treasure among the stamps.
